According to Miss Info, 50 went berserk in G-Unit offices because this video was leaked on YouTube. The song was not supposed to be released until October, after the September 11 release of his new album “Curtis.” Apparently someone at his label did it, and he’s pissed.
“Here’s the inside story. Allegedly someone inside the Interscope camp is about to lose their job or their head because a video of 50’s 3rd single, called “Follow my Lead†featuring Robin Thicke just leaked to the web. Mind you, this single isn’t supposed to come out until October….after 50’s album drops and after his Justin Timberlake collabo dies out. But now 50’s carefully laid plan is all messed up and when he found out about the leak he flipped so crazy that told the head of Interscope that he’s boycotting all promo all media and possibly leaving the label… right now? Less than a month before the album drops?”
Makes sense that he wouldn’t want TWO cheesy R&B songs featuring WHITE boys released at the same time. Not only does it lose it’s impact for crossover appeal, but the over-saturation certainly won’t help his street cred. He’s running around taking cheap shots at everybody from Kanye to Lil Wayne. Karma is a bitch. The cherry on top would be if Kanye outsells him on Sept 11. Then (according to the promise he made) I won’t have to look at his fugly face anymore.
But then I wouldn’t be surprised if the whole thing is just another one of Fiddy’s publicity stunts.

think about it the fans are going to eat this competition up if the fans know that they bet their career everybody’s going to buy their album think about it. kanye produced a song on fif album and they both said it was friendly competition. so i think its a stunt from both of them
