50 Cent Says He’s Still #1
Makes sense, but we are suppose to doubt artists when there messing up that’s what makes a artist make better music. After the Curtis album people started doubting you because you went on some far left super pop shit that didn’t sound right coming from you, That whole entire album was saved by I Get Money and that was 2 years ago. In this day and Age your only as hot as your last hit single.
Jay-Z has a different energy when he comes out with new music because of his longevity of putting out consistently great content so even if he has a dud like Kingdom Come, he gets a pass because of who he is and what he’s done. 50 Cent on the other hand is only 3 albums in, has one classic (Get Rich or Die Trying), one flop (Curtis) and one acceptable album (The Massacre). That’s not enough of a track record to still be number one when your last hit was in 2007.
And this is coming from a G-Unit fan….

His first album sold 10 millioin b/c he had alotta buzz and it was hot, he sold 10 million on the 2nd album b/c they expected it to be better than the first, but it wasnt even on that level, so what happened with the 3rd, you cant blame the economy if Wayne sold a million in the 1st week. If 50 wanna say he #1 thats cool, but Eminem, Wayne, Jay-Z all have to be in a different category

Let’s see, where can i start. 50’s ropped his first album Get Rich or Die Trying in 2003,and sold 10 million. Even ya’lls favorite rapper cant drop that many albums in a year LOL. Then like Legend says, his second album dropped another 10 million. So i take it he doesnt have to prove himself to much in the rap game cuz even if his shit isnt on point like it use to be, he’s still going to sell more records than the majority of rappers out here besides Lil Wayne and Eminem. Hell like 50 said from the jump start, he was gunning for P Diddy to be the king, how many rappers u know made 500 million in a span of 5 years? Hell took Hova twice as long, not to mention he’s a business genious. If i was in 50’s shoes, i would be doing the same shit, exploring other revenues to get money, rap aint everything knowing that half of these rappers r fake anyway. To me, 50’s #1 cuz of how fast he did it, moved on to some other shit, and can still put out some bs laying in his crib and sell 10 or so million records, who else in the rap game can do that?

On top of that, Game cant stay off the man’s dick. Tired of hearing Game biting his shit, then the next minute talking shit about him, and now he’s apologizing to him? I thought the west side was harder than that.
