First of all the if you would all open your damn minds and expand your taste in music, you’d know that the beat comes from the rock band Weezer. It actually sounds pretty good as a rap beat, but it was a rock beat first. Second the dude is fucking around he’s said it himself. It is what it is, this song ain’t bad to play at a party or some shit, yea he does sound like Em a bit, but he has a little bit of his own style. The dude doesn’t claim to be a rapper….there for you can’t compare him to other rappers like Em.
Em would destroy this kid in a battle, but again the dude ain’t claiming he’s a rapper so we don’t even need to take it there.

Just ’cause he’s not rapping about cars, guns and selling coke doesn’t mean he’s not legit.
This song jams, and if you don’t think so then keep listening to the shit on the radio and getting dumber.
Btw, this is NOT a Weezer sample. If you listen to the rythm, it’s not the same. It’s someone else playing the same chords. That way they don’t have to pay sample royalties, just cover royalties (although seeing as it’s just 4 chords, and a fairly common chord progression, them actually paying royalties for it is probly a small chance. It’s the tone of the guitar that gives the song the distinct sound, and that’s not really something that copyright covers….)
