Ether? Wow….come on homie, this ain’t ether 2009. Song is hard no doubt. Beanie basically recycled everything Jay said as a rebuttal. Beanie was never, “that dude” in Hip Hop. Had a few singles, never had complete albums. Sigel sounds like a scorned female, “You ain’t come see me Jay while I was in Jail? I made the Roc the Roc cuz I made it what it is??

When did SP or Sigel light up the entire summer of hits? (Thats a true hiphop fan yall) Yo did your home work homie but sigie did ask Jay to leave ROC but instead Jay declined and seperated himself from that Gritty Grimey ROC shadow for business opportunities. As soon as he did he started getting more publicity like SuperBowl commercials and HP/Dell notebook commercials. I’m not trying to persaude people to ride with Jay or Beanie. I think Sigal is nice, but he never caught my ear with ill metaphors, it was just his hunger and delivery that had my ears buzzing. I want to comment on ILOVEHIPHOP’s response. True in deed I do hear you regarding Jay’s business move but can you blame him? Let me ask you this, while Jay was progressing and making moves, Sigal was still getting locked up and acting stupid. Sigal brags on his street cred and I respect that, but can street cred get you money, buy you a home, get you good credit? 20 years from now, where will Sigal be? My man, I read people’s comments and I don’t judge or attack one’s character. It’s a free country, this ain’t Iran my dude, people are allowed to express their opinion. I even stated, I’m not trying to convince people to take sides with Jay or Beanie.
I like Beanie, but I think dude is crying in MY OPINION because he had that lame ass clothing line, lame ass State Property, and lame ass movies, and some lame ass songs on his album and how many NON PLATINUM artist you know has that liberty to do all of these things?? If none, it gotta be a few. I don’t see Drake with a clothing line, or given the opportunities Beanie had? So Beanie had the opportunity and as I mentioned b4, street cred won’t get you good credit, won’t get you a mortgage or a job my dude. I rather be in Jay’s position instead of a grown ass man reaching 40 crying that he has street cred, but is broke as hell. I’m sure Jay has some shady characteristics, but I rather be in his shoes at 40 years of age.
