Freddie Gibbs & Madlib team for a new joint called “Thuggin’” which is the title track from the Thuggin’ EP. An album is in the works.

At Friday’s Madlib Medicine Show tour stop in San Francisco, the producer announced a collaborative project with the rapper Freddie Gibbs. Gibbs also debuted “Thuggin’” and “Deep,” from their debut EP. The 6-track record is released on Madlib’s Madlib Invazion label – the imprint the producer founded to release his 13 Madlib Medicine Show volumes. The duo’s as-of-yet untitled album is planned for release in first quarter 2012.

Sammy Adams or Sam Adams pops back up with a new joint titled “Blow Up” for his major label debut. He previously topped iTunes chart with his Boston’s Boy project and recieved good reviews for his Party Records mixtape. I Feel like Mac Miller took the place of where Sam Adams was supposed to be, see what happens when you disappear for a year.

50 Cent attempts to remake a classic with a sequel to his “What Up Gangsta” classic from his diamond selling Get Rich Or Die Trying album. As with most attempts to capture the magic of a classic, this one falls short in comparison to how epic the original was. That being said this is a hot track, or at least half a hot track.
