Charts:Lil Wayne Still Leads, Rihanna Follows, G-Unit Slow Down
On this weeks Billboard 200, Lil Wayne’s “The Carter III” continues to dominate the chart coming in at #1 with 124,676 units sold in it’s fifth week.
With the Carter 3’s total sales now at 1,806,562, Wayne needs to sell less than 200,000 more copies for it to be certified double platinum.
Up two spots from last week at #8 is the re-release of Rhianna’s “Good Girl Gone Bad” which moved 47,100 units this week bringing it’s total sales to 1,441,305 so far.
Next up at number 9 is G-Unit’s sophomore album “Terminate On Sight” which in it’s second week managed to move 36,348 copies bringing it’s total to 138,150.
“Here I Stand” from R&B singer User comes in at no. 11 this week with sales of 33,253 adding to it’s new total of 880,570 copies sold.
With sales of 24,391, Three Six Mafia’s “Last To Walk” snatches the #16 spot this week with it’s total sales figure now at 138,404.
Further down the chart, Plies sold 24,063 copies of his “Definition Of Real” album which now totals 380,267 units sold.
Tech N9ne’s “Killer” album moved 13,421 bringing it’s total to 49,665, Miami based rapper Rick Ross sold 10,077 copies of his “Trilla” which has now sold a total of 619,908.
“M.O.B.” by Jim Jones & The Byrd Gang sold 6,287 copies this week bringing it’s total to 23,545 and in it’s first week on the charts Killer Mike’s “I Pledge Allegiance to the Grind Pt 2? sold 3,566.
