Drake’s Record Deal Looks Like A Good Set Up

Under the unusually lucrative agreement he struck with Aspire/Young Money/Cash Money Records distributed through Universal, Drake received a $2-million advance. He retains the publishing rights to his songs and cedes only around 25% of his music sales revenues to the label as a “distribution fee,” his managers said. By contrast, the overwhelming majority of new artists sign financially restrictive “360 deals” that sap their touring and merchandise income and offer much more restrictive profit-sharing.

      Right on, 2 mil is good. He put out great music n that video was GREAT (Breast I never had, Big boobs everywhere bouncing up n down). I can’t say that was garbage. Has nothing to do wit the song but the women where hot but thats just my opinion

    3. The first video i think reflected what kind of person drake is n 2 mill dam cant hate somthin i dont have hopfull drake and waynes can battle eachother for the top spot to give us the greatest music we havent had in a while!!!!
