Not since Drake (2 years ago) have I done a artist spotlight for the simple fact that there was nothing interesting coming out, but since I’m on my T Dot ish right now I came across another hip hop act out of the city of Toronto called A-Game. I heard something from them a few months back but wasn’t worth posting until earlier this month I received a track called Go Head Shawty (the music video was posted a few days ago) which I’ve been listening to almost everyday which is funny because it’s a auto-tune record and I’m super anti auto-tune. Anyways I’ve been seeing allot a activity in the Toronto area lately as far as hip hop is concerned so I decided to give a spotlight to A-Game, read the short bio below to get acquainted, reference and download links are also below….

“A-Game has been steady making a name for themselves since the age of 13, navigating through this challenging and tumultuous music scene. Born and raised in the city of Toronto, the hip-hop duo consists of identical twins Rommel and Robert Hinds-Grannum also known as Nova and Chase.
In the few short years their pre-pubescent artistic beginnings, the young dou has since garnered thousands of avid fans, and has seen the release of their successful independent debut EP entitled “The World Is Yours”. This grassroots hustle pushed the project to over 10000 units in sales across the greater Toronto area.
A-Game signature sound is filled with vibrancy and paired with thought provoking narrative that connects to the voice of the common man. This is contrasted with undertones of aspiration and achievement that echoes their vision and destination. The dou mix their styles and tempos to instigate a novel on their debut indie EP “The World Is Yours” as well as their recently released mixtape “Running On time” hosted by DJ Lust and Ransom on their independent label, T.A.G. (The Arma-dah Group)”

Im from St.Louis I feel we are the most over looked hot bed of talent in the hip hop globe. Like my dude Prince EA, Spaide Rippa, Shorty Da Kidd, Hakeem Tha Dream, Hit Man Holla, A Verb, Gena, Kydd Trell, Ludy, Ruka Puff, Potzee, Raw Reese, Night Owl, Joka, Da Bangas, I aint mention myself because that’s overkill but there are many more. You should check us out and Put some S.T.L artists on this site. L’s Up.
