The beef between Drake and Common started when Common fired subtle shots at “singin’ ass rappers” on his track “Sweet” off his The Dreamer/The Believer album. Common was asked who the song is directed at, and he says “Whoever the shoe fits.”
Most are saying the shoe perfectly fits Drake, who decided to speak out about Common’s jabs at a recent Las Vegas concert. “I might sing, but I ain’t no bitch. If Common got something to say, say it to my face.” Do you think anything will result of this beef?

i dont listen to much common but from what ive herd hes not that great lyricaly nd idk what ur talkin about autotune made young money wayne nd drakes lyrics made young money if u dont think so ignore the autotune nd listen to the lyrics but basicly commin has never put out a song that rele got my attention

Most you guys have no clue what your talking about Drake cant even sing in the first place, it sounds like he is talking when he tries to sing. common is know by the world and he doesnt do it for the money how young money does it hints the name, that’s all they want they don’t care how their making rap look all. Common’s just a bitch trying to get his name out there. There’s no need to put someone on the spot unless your hatin and jealous. Drake’s putting out all this music and Common’s mad his tracks don’t even get heard. Common just meant that rap has lost its originality with all the singing and auto tune non sense. He was just trying to rep the lyrical masters such Mos Def, Talib Kweli and himself of course. If anyone really follows the hip hop culture you know rappers like them don’t rap for the glamour of the business but for the political struggles and hatred of the world. I don’t think it was meant to diss anyone just trying to get the newer generation to think for a minute and not be prisoners of the moment.
