Kanye West Arrested AGAIN! & Crazy ego-trip quote

Kanye West just can’t seem to stay out of trouble. Early this morning as he was leaving a New Castle night club (a city in the United Kingdom), West was allegedly involved in an altercation with photographer. Kanye was arrested at a hotel in Gatehead, England just a few hours ago.

Thankfully for Kanye West the police took some time to investigate, and he was released from police custody with out any charges.

The person who is claiming to have been assaulted by Kanye is no stranger to these types of allegations. Just a month ago he made the same accusation against a famous British soccer player. That case was closed with out any charges being filed.

In other related Kanye West news. He is now claiming to be the voice of this generation, the Michael Jordan of music and that Justin Timberlake could have been music’s MVP, but he missed that opportunity when he went on vacation this summer. Read the bazaar quote for your self:

“I realize that my place and position in history is that I will go down as the voice of this generation, of this decade, I will be the loudest voice,” he said in an interview on Wednesday. “It’s me settling into that position of just really accepting that it’s one thing to say you want to do it and it’s another thing to really end up being like Michael Jordan.”

“There were people who had the potential to do it but they went on vacation, so when Justin went on vacation I made albums,” he said. “And it just came out to be that.”

“I’m just going through balancing that. And I always used to have that support system, you know. And you know now when I’m on that stage and I look out and I say, ‘What am I going to do with the rest of my life?’ Like when does a real life start?’ Because I have sacrificed real life to be a celebrity and to give this art to people, which is great. It is great that I was able to do that, I’m not trying to shun that in any way, but it’s definitely a Catch-22 and it’s bittersweet.”

I don’t think he meant to say he was the best rap artist, but what he meant by his quote was that he is the best at what he does. Think about it, the boy makes hot beats and he also raps, how many other niggas you know that do both and are good at both? Pharrell makes good beats, but he’s sub-par at best when it comes to rapping. Kanye isn’t the best rapper, not by a long shot, but he does have some nice lines and lyrics.

I can’t really think of too many other Producer/Rappers that are really good at both except for Havoc and RZA, them two dudes were beast, but they aren’t current. Kanye was lucky enough to fall into a generation that wanted something more than just hardcore rapping, this generation was lucking to incorporate hip-hop/R&B/Pop/ and Rock. What other producer has really touched those other genres besides Kanye and Timberland? I can’t think of any. There for I think his comments were truthful and current, as of now he is one of the few mainstream artist that fucks with different styles of music and he is the poster boy for his style. I think he’s good at what he does, not the best rapper, but just at what he do.
