Kanye’s Best Friend Gone: Dr. Donda West Dead at 58
I’ve been delaying this post while researching the matter.
In very sad news today, 58 year old Dr. Donda West, mother of Hip-Hop superstar Kanye West was pronounced dead last night in Los Angeles, CA. Although it is unknown as to what her exact cause of death is, Dr. West suffered from complications of a surgical procedure. Some sources say that it could have been because of plastic surgery. Although the family hasn’t released the exact cause of death, I wish to respect his family’s privacy by not disclosing that information until a late date.
Please keep his family in prayers.

Racism will never die…..as a minority, its just something thats so common in our daily lives often times we’re immune to it…..hell i’ve read a million comments like ralph’s on the internet, on youtube, on whatever…..but it just boggles me why is it so predominantly white ppl that give comments like this, how often do u see a minority go onto a fuckin john mayer music video and scream some shit like cracker this, cracker that…..99% of the time all i see is racism from us in response, and thats where there lies truth in Kamau Kambon’s assertions about despite us not knowin the reason why, all we know is that white ppl want us dead….obviously not consciously (or hope not), but somehow they just have this natural inclination for subordinating and degrading others. I was watching part of that Frank Lucas documentary posted here, and I nearly got a tear in my eye when he explained that story of the KKK coming and tying up his brother up to a tree as a kid and shooting him in the face with a shotgun dead just for looking at a white girl, right in front of frank as a child….and what hit the hardest was that this happened to someone living today, someone explaining the story live about his childhood, not in some history book about something that happened in the 1800s. Of course he came into New York with an attitude to never be under a white man, do you blame him? All the major racist instances you’ve encountered in your life come flooding in your mind at that moment, and all you can do is wipe away your tears and be strong.

As for the real matter at hand. I’ll prey for Kanye West and his family… Losing your mom has got to be the hardest thing a man could go through, especially when he had such a close relationship with his mom.

First and foremost, I would like to apologize for my terrible spelling and grammar from the previous message, but I was writing from the heart and I didn’t look back. I hope that everyone will still understand what I wrote and the message that I was trying to convey.
Basically, We (The African-Decent Society) from all over the world needs to OWN the word “Nigger” and not allow that word to own US. Think about that seriously for a few minutes. It is easier said than done, but we as people can do anything we put our hearts into.
P.S. Jim Shultz, you do have the freedom of speech that is given to you by our U.S government, but our government does not give you the freedom to spread hateful messages OR make any threats against someone’s life. Last time I checked, that was against the law…. So if you don’t want to play nice then we as a “Hip Hop Community” will not play nice too! That’s real talk!!! Remember that!!!
