As far as the image Plies is putting out there, Trick is one of the most respected, because his life leaves no room for questions. His story is in the Prison System, he represented the thugs before everyone else jumped on the thug bandwagon. Plies does not have a documented history of street activity, his history is that of a college student turned rapper. I think he should represent his experiences as a college student and use his influence to represent those positive aspects of his real life also, (Keep it all the way real!!!)

Trick might be respected, but the dude hasn’t came out with no bangers in a minute. He hasn’t be current for at least 4 years now. I respect the dude because he’s real and does stuff for the kids, but I hope this isn’t his way of coming back into the game…because if it is, this shit is sorry as fuck. Plies is portraying an image that might not be true…..it’s called hip-hop, most rappers are fake. I don’t care for Plies, but I don’t see why dudes are hating on him so much. Plies is getting that paper right now, so good for him.
