She was also the leading lady in Tyrese’s “Sweet Lady” video… but lately things haven’t been going so well for her. There are naked pics of her all over the Internet, and she looks pretty cracked out:
Not only that, but her mom, the author Bebe Moore Campbell, just died November 27 from brain cancer and has been quoted as saying that one of her children has a mental illness (wonder who that could be).
I’ve been reading a lot of blogs from people who are saying all kinds of nasty things about her, but clearly she needs some help. Apparently, her behavior has been erratic and rumor has it that she is possibly bipolar. I don’t know if you’ve ever known anyone who has that illness, but it’s definitely no joke.”

Sometimes life throws things at you that you are not mentally prepared for–fast fame, conniving people, an addiction to perfection, and utter disappointment when you cannot find lasting satisfaction in these things.I feel hartbreak for Maia, she has lost her mother (11/27/06)and cannot figured out who her true help comes from (God). I pray for her and wish her well.

I feel really bad for Maia. She is a beautiful woman, and sometimes people fall victims to tragedy in their lives. Maybe the death of her mother was too much for her to bear, therefore she is going off on the deep end. I hate the fact that people are capitalizing on her addiction (the people doing the filming and providing her with the crack). I hope that her relatives and friends reaches out to her, and help get her the help that she needs.

Her mother died the very next day after her birthday. Not to mention she’s Bipolar. It’s jacked up that everyone thinks this is funny. Why is it that people are so fascinated with the downfall of celebrities?

Nevermind the 69 thing … happens to bethe year I was born. My mom died and sister as well 4 months apart. Hard shit to go through when you’re strong … devestating when you already have issues … point me in the right direction so I can help this young lady out. Its true she has a few mental handicaps i wanna say for tha record L.L. Cool J is the true & 1st trigger in Maia Campbell downfall he would sexually Harrass her to sleep with him and Maia tryin to remain professional being this is her 1st big break told him i cant L.L. got her off tha show then right after he was all on Maia L’s wife and kids would come on tha set and L.L. would put on tha lovin husband front he clearly blackballed Maia’s acting career which stop her money from coming in then & with L.L. being tha star of that show when she went for help no 1 would listen theyd tell her to ignore it sayin L’s jus playin wit you but this niggaz a bi-sexual devil and Maia feelin lost and trapped had a nervous breakdown which led to mild drug use & after rejections from auditions and readings her life was empty while L’s was rising in film she had a baby to feed bills pending she turned to tha streets since none of her fake Hollywood friends wouldnt step up to help but thats black Hollywood 4 ya she got no help.

Tha only ones who helped her financially was Tyrese and Fat Joe they looked out & didnt want nuthin from her they were being a friend to Maia and all these black actors and actresses have turned their backs on her and you wont see none of them speak out until Maia God forbid dies from a drug over dose and a broken heart so to all of you reading this remember L.L.
