Remember Maia Campbell (She’s Not Doing too Good)
“Remember how pretty Maia Campbell was when she was on “In The House,” and how all the guys had a crush on her? She was also the leading lady in Tyrese’s “Sweet Lady” video… but lately things haven’t been going so well for her. There are naked pics of her all over the Internet, and she looks pretty cracked out:
Not only that, but her mom, the author Bebe Moore Campbell, just died November 27 from brain cancer and has been quoted as saying that one of her children has a mental illness (wonder who that could be).
I’ve been reading a lot of blogs from people who are saying all kinds of nasty things about her, but clearly she needs some help. Apparently, her behavior has been erratic and rumor has it that she is possibly bipolar. I don’t know if you’ve ever known anyone who has that illness, but it’s definitely no joke.”

Sometimes life throws things at you that you are not mentally prepared for–fast fame, conniving people, an addiction to perfection, and utter disappointment when you cannot find lasting satisfaction in these things.I feel hartbreak for Maia, she has lost her mother (11/27/06)and cannot figured out who her true help comes from (God). I pray for her and wish her well.

I feel really bad for Maia. She is a beautiful woman, and sometimes people fall victims to tragedy in their lives. Maybe the death of her mother was too much for her to bear, therefore she is going off on the deep end. I hate the fact that people are capitalizing on her addiction (the people doing the filming and providing her with the crack). I hope that her relatives and friends reaches out to her, and help get her the help that she needs.

Her mother died the very next day after her birthday. Not to mention she’s Bipolar. It’s jacked up that everyone thinks this is funny. Why is it that people are so fascinated with the downfall of celebrities?

Anybody knows where she is … I’d like to help her get off the streets and get her into a center? My email address can be published so I can get responses. Nevermind the 69 thing … happens to bethe year I was born. My mom died and sister as well 4 months apart. Hard shit to go through when you’re strong … devestating when you already have issues … point me in the right direction so I can help this young lady out.
