In my opinion, it’s cool if you use the robot voice once or twice on your album, but an entire album? C’mon now!! And to make the shit apart of your persona as an artist is pretty much wack. This is not the future of hip-hop and should not be. This applies to R&B artists also. This auto tunes has become pedemic and over saturated in the music industry. Now, it’s a gimmick because it worked for a couple of well-known artists. I’m tired of the shit also. Start making real, original music and stop dick riding trends. This music generation is goin’ to shit and a lot of these young ones don’t care for substance and appeal in their music. Country and rock music isn’t fallin’ off but “black” music is. See the picture? We’re killing ourselves from within and noone cares enough to save face in our culture. Get this shit right and the older generation wouldn’t have to step in.
