Things aren’t going well for 50 Cent and his label these days.

In recent posts on his Twitter account, 50 Cent lashed out at his label Interscope Records, stating that he’s lost faith in his music. 50 cent says:

I have lost all the faith in the team I’m on. I having nothing left to say I will not be promoting my music. I’m going to deliver this album then I have a film I wrote to focus on. I’m not upset, I’m just convinced this is not how I want to remembered. Ill be honest I don’t think I’m gonna live much longer. That’s why I started my street king movement. I want to mean more in other peoples lives.

I mixed the big 10 because everything I do has to be the best I can make it cause other artist will create after hearing the ideas. This morning I was look out the window. I saw a bird fly right on to ledge. It felt like he was looking right at me. I hit the window he just looked at me like he new I couldn’t do anything threw the glass. I was tripping he sat there a minute then flew off. I’d like to be a bird so I could fly and shit on the world. Then you all could say 50 shit on me. That’s luck right ? Then don’t wipe the shit off.

It’s odd 50 Cent would be saying something like this when he just released The Big 10 mixtape less than a month ago and it’s fire.

He also talks about his music and how to combat online piracy.

50 Cent’s recent interview with XXL magazine, and inside he made a surprising comparison of himself and Lil Wayne.

When asked about his thoughts on Lil Wayne, 50 responds:

“He’s turning into 50 Cent.He’s going through that process of being successful, ’til people go, “You know what? Get the f*ck outta here. We don’t want you here no more.” Because you’re successful. … For me, the music is an artistic choice. I’ll say, from the very beginning, that I can care less about a critic or how someone judges me for the actual music. You see, people understand within hip-hop culture that I’m passionate about actually trying to do something different. I want to make a change in a different way. This is about me personally feeling like I wanna mean more after I’m dead, when I’m gone.”

50 Cent mentioned he will be dropping a new project called The Big 10 to commemorate 10 years of his first official mixtape 50 Cent In The Future released back in 2002. Here is the first official leak from the project “Stop Crying” and it bangs.

I wish he didn’t step away from music the way he did, now he’s playing catch up. I feel like he still has hit records but he’s lost touch with his fans, it’s gonna take allot of work for him to return to where he once was. 50 Cent attempts to remake a classic with a sequel to his “What Up Gangsta” classic from his diamond selling Get Rich Or Die Trying album. As with most attempts to capture the magic of a classic, this one falls short in comparison to how epic the original was. That being said this is a hot track, or at least half a hot track.

I must be missing something because this says “Street King Energy Track #7″ but I haven’t anything prior to this related to the Street King project.

50 Cent calls up Funkmaster Flex to talk about speaking at the UN about the Street King project feeding 2.5 million kids in it’s first week, he quickly touches on his new music; and then he talks about the alleged altercation between Ray J and Fabolous that took placed in Vegas after the Mayweather fight. Fif confirms that Ray J did not hit Fab, and says Ray J might have been twisted of that juice.

New music from Tony Yayo called “Haters” which originally featured 50 Cent, Shawty Lo &  Roscoe Dash but has since been replaced with the newest G-Unit signee Kidd Kidd. A video was shot for the song in Atlanta by Mr. Boomtown and should be coming soon.

Oh shit, the jerry curl gangster (that’s rocking for the rest of the month) 50 Cent just liberated the first song called “Outlaw” from his new LP coming later this year. Fif got tired of Interscope moving in slow motion and not being on the same page as him, so he decided to leak the song himself. The record is pretty tough too, it’s produced by Cardiak.

50 Cent was tweeting (hyping) about this track yesterday, it’s called  ”Wish Me Luck” from Govenor and features 50 Cent.

New track from 50 Cent called “Happy New Year” which probably would have been more appropriate if it dropped earlier, but then again the track has nothing to do with the New Year.

Fifty stated that the headphones will be out in March and will retail for $350. Due to the wireless technology this is slightly pricier than the Studio Beats by Dre which currently retail $299.

All these rappers are pushing up the price of these over-ear headphones. I remember back in the day they were less than $50. Shows the value of branding and celebrity endorsements. Expect loads more “by” headphones soon.

On December 13th Ja Rule pleaded guilty to serve two years in jail for a gun charge stemming from the night of July 2007 in which the Murder Inc. star and rapper Lil Wayne were arrested – separately – following a New York City concert performance.

Remember when I posted the video of 50 Cent loading up his Lambo with millions of dollars for no good reason? I said then that wasn’t the type of activity you usually see from 50 Cent. He’s not the million dollar chain wearing, flossing type of rapper, those coon activities have now earned him some not so surprising backlash on Twitter for the video and the pictures of him flaunting money.

Says 50 Cent:

“Everyone has a right to their opinion on you when you’re public property,” 50 said in an interview. “Some people who may not be in a good financial state are angry that you have the ability to do that. I sent a joke on Twitter at the wrong time and it was completely misinterpreted. You could say my name and it will provoke emotion. Some people love it–some people hate it. Some people don’t have enough interest in it to care either way, but they [still] know who you’re talking about. They’ll say something negative [about] where you can put that money. Then, when you have no money, they’ll have something negative to say about that [too], whichever way, whatever situation you’re in, they have something to say about it, regardless.”

Your point is duly noted 50, and it’s your money so can do whatever you want with it. But right now in this half ass economy and like you said “Some people who may not be in a good financial state are angry that you have the ability to do that,” you must have realized that was going to happen. When it’s all said and done now might not have been the time to be doing that, it was in bad taste.

Here’s new one from Kidd Kidd titled “Better Walk” with 50 Cent on the hook, is Kidd Kidd Young Money or not? I became aware of him from Lil Wayne and Young Money mixtapes, I’m too lazy to go find out. It’s not a bad song if your looking for some aggressive content.
