Eminem, what advice do you offer, if any, on being scrutinized for being a white rapper. Do you guys ever talk about race in that way?
Eminem: We make jokes about it, but I don’t think we talk about it in depth. As I was listening to his music, I am not even thinking about any of that shit. It’s just the music. That’s one of the things that’s great about it. I’m not even thinking about it when I hear the music.
Yelawolf: We do poke fun of it because it’s funny. Like, he calls me White Dog.

Oh, you called him that on the BET Awards Cypher. I didn’t realize it was an ongoing joke?
EM: Yeah, or Beige Sheep. [Laughs]
YW: Cracker Nuts. Whatever, I think it’s kinda unspoken.
EM: We deal with it enough as it is. So now, let’s make music.
YW: Let’s make great records. At the end of the day, that’s all there is to do.

Giving the history between Eminem & Royce Da 5’9″, the fact that they now have a joint EP dropping in June isn’t surprising if anything it’s long overdue. Though I must say after the beef Em, D12 and Royce went through a few years ago, I didn’t think it would all come together like this. That’s Hip Hop for you.

Says Em about the project:

“Royce and I started hanging out again and inevitably that led us back into the studio. At first we were just seeing where it went without any real goal in mind, but the songs started to come together crazy, so here we are.”

Says Royce:

“I’m excited to see this project come to fruition considering the long lapse in time between when we worked before and now. We had a blast doing it and we just hope everyone enjoys it while we’re working on the ‘Monster’ that will be the Slaughterhouse album. #TeamShady”

The EP is set for a June 14th release and will feature production from DJ Khalil, Havoc, Mr. Porter, Bangladesh and others.

D12 released a new street album today entitled Return of the Dozen Vol. 2 and here’s the Eminem-featured track from the project. It’s called Fame, check it out.

Remember after Eminem, Slaughterhouse & Yelawolf did the cover for XXL magazine after the signing with Shady Records? I said I couldn’t wait to hear a collaboration from all 3 of them, well the wait us over. Eminem, Yelawolf & Slaughterhouse cover the March issue of XXL magazine. In stores February 8th.

In an excerpt from the article Eminem spoke of when he first heard Yelawolf:

“I saw the video to ‘Pop the Trunk,’ and I was like, ‘Yo, this is fuckin’ dope,’ Em says. “I took the CD home that I had already had and started listening to the shit, and I was like, ‘Fuck, he can spit.’”

Here’s the final/CDQ/mastered version that will appear on the album. Unfortunately this album will not perform with T.I. being in Jail for another 11 months, this album will just fall by the wayside.

Here’s a new one from Dr. Dre titled “I Need A Doctor” featuring Eminem & Skylar Grey. The track leaked earlier this morning, just as Interscope launched DrDre.com with the official mix of “Kush”. Dre said yesterday on Big Boy’s Neighborhood that he wasn’t planning on pushing “Kush”  as a single because it’s the only weed song on Detox and he didn’t want people to think that’s what the album is about, but the positive response so far has made him reconsider.

Eminem gave Dr. Dre some real talk on the track about him messing up, maybe he should do the same for 50 Cent.

Here’s the second collaboration from T.I. and Eminem, this one is titled “All She Wrote” and is allot better than the first collaboration they did. Will there ever be someone who can school Eminem on a beat?

Another one from Lloyd Banks and Eminem titled “Celebrity” with Akon on the vocals. By the sound of it I’m assuming this is not the final mix, also Eminem wasn’t on the track list for this song but sure enough here he is doing what he does best. Expect to see a mastered version of this.

Here the anticipated collaboration between Lloyd Banks and Eminem, the track is titled “Where I’m At” but you probably won’t don’t download it because it tagged up like crazy, SMH. Plus I think it’s a snippet because Em was only on the track for about 20 seconds. Side note  to you up and coming websites, this is not how you get credit for a track.

One of the biggest records on Eminem’s Recovery album gets a sequel, this time with Rihanna at the helm off her upcoming LOUD! album.

Here it is, one of the most anticipated if not the most anticipated track off Nicki Minaj’s debut album Pick Friday. It’s called “Roman’s Revenge” featuring Eminem. Nicki Minaj’s alter ego Roman Zolanski vs. Eminem’s alter ego Slim Shady. Those Nicki bars are cutting deep, Lil Kim will take this one personal. I can fux with this one, it’s going straight to the iPhone. Thoughts?

Eminem has been revealed as a guest performer on Nicki Minaj’s upcoming Pink Friday album. Two of hip hop’s most infamous alter egos, Em’s ‘Slim Shady’ and Minaj’s ‘Roman Zolanski,’ will trade bars on the track “Roman’s Revenge.”

Minaj also revealed that Drake will be appearing on the album during a Ustream session earlier this week. The femcee said that their collaboration one of her favorites.

There have been reports from Mack Maine, Young Money CEO, that Minaj is anxious about her first week sales not living up to expectations. “She was worrying about first week. She was like, ‘Drake sold [463,000]. What you think I’ma sell? As if she gon’ sell less,” recalled Maine. “I explained to her, ‘You know a lot of the press and the media really got it brainwashed with first week sales.’”

According to hitsdailydouble.com, Eminem’s Recovery is projected to have sold anywhere between 320-340k, putting Em at the #1 spot for the second week in a row, and putting him over the platinum mark. The controversial hip hop veteran has recaptured his platinum touch after a successful return to recording in 2009.

Other projections for the week include Drake’s Thank Me Later at 115-125k, as well as The-Dream’s Love King at 55-60k. The Roots at 21-24k, and Usher at approximately the same figures.

Eminem’s Recovery moved 741,000 units according to Billboard. This will be his 6th straight #1 album.

“Recovery’s” debut week sales surpasses the first week of Eminem’s last set, “Relapse,” which began at No. 1 in 2009 with 608,000. It also beats the opening of 2005’s “Curtain Call: The Hits” which entered at No. 1 with 441,000 in 2005.

Eminem’s new album also wows digitally, as downloads made up 255,000 of its first week. That’s the second-biggest digital week for an album in history. Only Coldplay’s “Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends” notched a larger frame, when it debuted with 288,000 downloads in the summer of 2008.

No fan base as loyal as Eminem’s, I’m one of the 741,000 people that copped the album and he did that despite the leak. That last relapse CD was eh but this Recovery joint is fire.

“Wayne did a millie, 50 did a millie, Ye too, but what Em did was silly, the white boy blossomed after Dre endorsed him, his flow on Renegade, f-cking awesome, Applaud him.“

A year ago I would never imagined Slaughterhouse signing to Eminem lead along being featured on his album even though it’s only a iTunes Bonus. Check it out and leave your thoughts.

Some of you were already discussing the verse from Talkin To Myself, where he basically said he was planning on going at Kanye and Weezy.

“I thought, ‘Man, I can do that shit. He ain’t that dope,’” Em said. “I’m hearing this dude say some clever, witty shit and I’m not doing it, so I feel fucked up.” Em ultimately opted not to release the unnamed dis track. “It would have been career suicide,” he said. “They would have fuckin’ murdered me.”

He might be overestimating Lil Wayne a little bit but either way it would have been lame for Eminem to diss him or Kanye for no reason. Em has always been the underdog it wouldn’t be like him to just go at somebody without being attacked first.

Yet another unexpected team up from Eminem, first the collaboration with Pink and now this Riahana collaboration titled Love The Way You Lie.

Whoo Kid said the difference between Relapse and Relapse 2 is the level of insanity.

The original only had Drake, Lil Wayne and and someone else who’s name escapes me at the moment, this version has the new verses from Drake, Lil Wayne, plus Kanye West and Eminem have been added to the roster which is far more epic than having someone on it who’s name I can’t remember.

You know your a hot artist when people are already remaking songs you already put out on mixtapes and repackaging them as singles, the kid didn’t even drop an album yet. In all honesty though I much prefer Lil Wayne and Drake’s original verses.

These tracks are older than most of you who visit this site, these previously unreleased tracks from Em’s  early 90’s partnership with Chaos Kid under the name Soul Intent. On Kid Chaos myspace it says that the two worked together from 1988 – 1992 along with a producer by the name of Manix.

Man I was only 4 when these tracks were being made, you can definitly hear Big Daddy Kane in Em’s style who happen to be one of his biggest influences in Hip Hop.

I almost couldn’t tell the difference between Em and Chaos on these records, but if you listen to Chaos it’s like the 90s never left. Eminem is looking like Snow in that picture anf the hair is hilarious, he’s sure come along way.

So as I continued to semi enjoy Marshall’s rhyme scheme and flow, I mean let’s be honest dude used to be incredible. He was a witty lyrist with dope delivery and timing. Some even say, one of the best to ever do it. I had nothing but respect for this dude. But all of a sudden I hear my name in the verse! My first reaction was like, “This is his new shit??? Wow, that’s too bad…” Then I felt sorry for him because he must really be stuck in the past. Not only has his music not evolved, but also homeboy is still obsessed with my wife, the same female that wouldn’t let him get to second base from 8 years ago! He even describes his desperate lameness in this bad excuse for storytelling track. That’s some real middle school shit right there! (What type of grown ass man lies about getting with a chick) Only Slim Lamey! LOL!

Even though most people don’t know that I’m nice in the ring and have been training in boxing and Martial Arts for years that would just be childish and silly of me to bully this dude. He clearly has been picked on all his life and I would hate to add to his deep-rooted pain. As we all know he has had a hard life and has major insecurity issues and is very confused and unhappy with himself. So a guy like that doesn’t really need another ass whoopin, he needs a hug. We should really pray for his troubled heart.

While in his hometown yesterday, he elaborated on a comment he made to DJ Envy last week in New York during an interview on Envy’s satellite radio show. Ross said he was done with 50 Cent and may turn his focus to Eminem.

Speaking to MTV News, Ricky explained whether he meant competing with Slim Shady in rhyme battles or just making hit records.

“I mean, I’m a fan of Eminem,” he said. “I’m a fan first and foremost. But after defeating Curly, my confidence is at an all-time high. Maybe before I wouldn’t have challenged him, but I’m contemplating it now. The game is commending me for my victory. That’s all I wanted to do was … punish the opposition. I think I’ve done a great job and I’m gonna continue to do that.”

“I think he’s a bigger and better artist than what Curly is,” Ross said. “So if I was looking to fulfill that excitement or that rush, that’s who I have to address.”

Maybe instead of a few rounds of Rick Ross versus Eminem, we may see a Rick Ross and Eminem collaboration — the Bawse also says he wants to guest star on Em’s upcoming Relapse LP.

“I’m trying to be a part of that,” Ross said. “It’s either way. We gonna see each other one way or another.”

Good luck with that Ricky…..And why does it take a half hour for Ross to get his thoughts together and answer a question? lol.

What’s it been a day since the video dropped? This guy just can’t keep his nose out of the Hip Hop Culture, which according to him is the lowest form of entertaining. Man I really can’t stand this guy, usually I wouldn’t give a shit but this dude disses our culture but then capitalizes from it at the same time. Now he uses Eminem’s lyrics to speak on a subject of Masogyny. Eminem has been here before this will just give him more publicity.
