If you haven’t heard that new Loso mixtape There Is No Competition: Death Comes In 3?s, then you need to. On the last track on the tape, Fab tears down Drake’s Lord Knows beat, on which he had a little slick line that takes at a shot at the beginning of Drake’s verse, where Drizzy talks about going in a girl’s purse.

Drake’s been feeling real confident lately, and has been talking like he’s the king in the game right now, so it’s only natural he has become a target. That’s how it’s supposed to be though, it’s a G check, can’t talk tough and not expect it.

That being said, I fux with Drizzy hard body but on everything just so we’re clear; he’s nowhere near the lyricist Loso is.

Fabolous is back to kill the game again with yet another release for his “There Is No Competition” series, this one is cleverly titled Death Comes In 3′s. His last one “The Funeral Service” which came out last March became a instant classic, and was even re-released as a EP. I have no doubt that this tape will be just as hard.

On the philanthropy side of things Fabolous and his foundation A Fabolous Way, recently wrapped up the hugely successful 3 Kings Coat Drive, reportedly collecting over 100,000 pieces of clothing for the less fortunate.

Another hot one off Young Jeezy’s upcoming TM103 album which drops December 20th. It’s called OJ and features Fabolous & Jadakiss, some Flex bombs on it but it’s still good. The CDQ version is available.

Riz enlist Fabolous for his track called “Soundproof,” from his new mixtape Kiss The Ring dopping December 6ht with features from Prodigy, French Montana and more.

Dev never released her debut album The Night The Sun Came Up, but now that the songstress is almost wrapped up with her pregnancy, she has been working on tightening the new album and put out a better project. The first single is titled “Kiss My Lips” and features the boy Fabolous.

The two mixtapes #Lemmeholdatbeat 2 and Anticipation 2 come out later today but before that, Trey also releases his brand new single ‘What I Be On’ with his ‘Say Ahh’ partner Fabolous.

Following a verse from Fabolous, the Bad Girl coos over the instrumental for Mobb Deep’s “Shook Ones Pt. II,” recalling R&B jams that played out in real life. So she wrote her own song sharing her experiences and hopes it resonates with someone else.

At the end of the mixtape, Diddy announced that “King of Hearts” will be the first single off Cassie’s sophomore album, due in 2012.

The Game with a new posse joint called “Bottles & Rockin’ J’s” DJ Khaled, Lil Wayne, Busta Rhymes, Fabolous & Rick Ross. That hook is lame but bars are solid.

Lloyd Banks and Fabolous team up for yet another collaboration, this one is called “Money Chase”. The PLK and Loso are two of the best when it comes to putting together those punchlines.

Here is the remix to Fabolous “You Be Killin’ Em” single adding Ryan Leslie (the producer) and Ne-Yo to the mix. This is the fist leak from Fabolous’ all soul sampled mixtape, The S.O.U.L. Tape dropping April 21st.

If you pay attention to Loso’s bars, he always starts off with some very clever lines while others usually give you a bunch a fillers before let out the one or two good punchlines. This is off Fab’s next mixtape, The S.O.U.L. Tape.

The “Hunger For More 2” album run is officially on and one of the first joints off it is appropriately titled “Start It Up” featuring Kanye West, Swizz Beatz, Ryan Leslie & Fabolous. This one is sort of just for the simple fact no one on this track (minus Ryan Leslie) was cool with each other a few years ago, definitely making it to iPod. It’s also been about 7 years since Banks and Fabolous been on a track together, it’s ill to hear how they sound now and how much they’ve developed. Back then they sound so much alike.

“I’m looking to come next summer,” Fab said of a sequel to Loso’s Way. “I like summer releases. It’s good timing. People are out, a lot of people need good music to ride to. I’m looking towards June or July again and come with Loso’s Way 2.”

As of now, the roll-out for the original Loso’s Way is still underway. Fab wants to release viral visuals for “Lullaby,” “Last Time” and “Makin’ Love,” while a clip “I’mma Do It” hit the ‘net a few weeks ago. Look for Fab to keep heating up cyberspace with a new mixtape on December 25, hosted by DJ Drama.

“The first mixtape with Dram was There Is No Competition,” he explained. “I’m working on part two — it’s called There Is No Competition Part 2: The Funeral Service. We gonna make it available for download on Christmas Day.”

…”Everything on there — it’s what I’ve been working on since the album. Even though [my album] came out in July, I probably finished it in maybe April or May. Everything has been building up musically since then. Sometime I get it out on R&B features or just other little stuff that you put out. I hadn’t put a mixtape out in while, so I had that backed up in me. I got a chance to release. I think people are gonna love it. There Is No Competition is me saying, ‘There is nobody that can compete with me. Death to the competition.’ That’s why it’s called The Funeral Service. Everything is themed around that. That’s why it’s kinda dark. Each song plays into that.”

DJ GLEW: On Twitter you said: “Its interesting to c 50 Cent unite wit NY artists when he’s 1 of the reasons NY hip hop became so isolated & crumbled”. Can you further comment on this Tweet?

FABOLOUS: I think that if you were to ask 50 a couple years ago if you were to do a show with those people he would have said no. It was interesting to me. I actually was invited to do the show as well but I had a prior show so I couldn’t make it. He had these hopes up and he had really isolated himself with G-Unit when he first came out. He didn’t mix well with other artists and rappers unless it was Eminem, Dr. Dre, Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo, and whoever was affiliated with him. He use to offer if you wanted to come be with him then you can come be with him and get money but other than that he wouldn’t rock with you. He hasn’t had many collaborations other than on his songs and this is why I found it interesting and out of no where they put together this show with New York rappers and Hip Hop which is great. But it’s kind of this destroy and rebuild situation.

Personally If we’re talking about hottest right now and for the year, Loso should have been higher on the list not to mention he’s in the top 5 for album of the year.

“Me and Jay built a connection through Def Jam. Through working together executive to artist [when Jay was Def Jam president], we built a different relationship as well. Maybe artist to artist we was in a little different space. You didn’t know where each other was at. We work well. When I needed help with the [new] album and I was reaching out for people for joints for the album, he was one of the people that was like, ‘Hear this.’ That’s where that joint came from. We got a connection. He’s from Brooklyn, I’m from Brooklyn — that’s enough of a connection right there.”

Look for a “Loso’s Way” movie to come with the album when it drops July 28.

“We came up with the songs first,” he said. “I made the songs to the scenario I thought of. Then I wrote a story [for a film]. Even when I was writing the story, I could hear certain songs coming up in those scenarios, in those scenes. That’s why it meshed well.”
