After the “H.A.M.” single dropped a few months ago, things went dark for “Watch The Throne” with no real follow up information about the collaboration album from Kanye West & Jay-Z. Now the project finally gets a release date: August 2nd, you can already pre-order the album at WatchTheThrone.com.

Yow anyone who was raised by on their mother or on the flip side dated dated females with kids can so relate to the bars in this new Kanye West joint called “Mama’s Boyfriend”. Q-Tip said that there were two beats for this song, so this might not be the one that was supposed to appear on the My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy re-release that he was talking about at the time.

Mr. Super Duper Flow Big Sean with a new one called “Marvin & Chardonnay” featuring Kanye West & Roscoe Dash. I’m not sure about this one, what y’all think hit or miss?

This “Eyez Closed” joint leaked about 2 months ago with no Snoop Dogg verse on it, now here’s the full version featuring Kanye West & John Legend. It will appear on Snoop Dogg’s Doggumentary album due out March 29th. This track is produced by Kanye West and co-produced by Plain Pat.

Oh man super super late pass on this one, what am I like 5 days late on this “All Of The Lights” remix? I was holding off from posting it because this is not the full version, this one only has verses from Lil Wayne, Big Sean & Drake but the complete version is supposed to have more featured on it, namely Kanye West himself. The full version never showed up and I just forgot I didn’t post it.

Anyways here it is now, so leave your thoughts especially on that Drake verse. Did it sound like that type of flow was a bit of a stretch for him?

Rihanna sure has a thing for athletics. First, she dates L.A. Dodger baseball player Matt Kemp and now she’s holding down the halftime show at the NBA All-Star game. Rocking a massive ruby red ponytail, Rihanna performed a medley of hits, starting out with “Umbrella,” then moving on to “Only Girl,” “Rude Boy,” “What’s My Name?” and “All of the Lights” featuring none other than Mr. Kanye West.Rihanna’s vocals were at times, slightly off. She seemed to fare the best on “What’s My Name.” The song had her voice in a comfortable pocket. Then again, the sound quality was subpar for the whole halftime show. But at the least, Rihanna showed she was committed to putting on a show and her choreography and dance moves were much appreciated. She just needs to keep up her intensity while dancing.Speaking of intense, how about that Kanye West?! He entered the halftime show in a billow of smoke to the triumphant horns of “All of the Lights” in a red jacket and metallic red jeans. The Red Ranger was ready to rock! Now if only he’d announce a tour.But Kanye wasn’t the only guest during RiRi’s set, though he certainly was the grandest. Drake also emerged from the crowd for a flirt action between him and Rihanna on “What’s My Name.” At this point, it’s not clear who Drake prefers to stoke relationship rumors with more: Nicki Minaj or Rihanna. Though Drizzy’s ideal would likely be to bed both.

With Kanye West’s co-sign, Ben Bronfman’s band Teachers (who contributed on the original) give “Monster” some new great sounding live instrumentation.

This Justin Bieber Runaway Love remix popped up around the time of the G.O.O.D Fridays music series, with a different beat, but the mastered version is now available on Bieber’s Never Say Never: The Remixes EP.

Kanye West adds two verses to Katy Perry’s “E.T.” single, the music video for the song has already been shot and will be released soon. Above in the player is a pic of Kanye and Katy on the set of E.T. video shoot.

Whenever Travis Barker touches a Hip Hop record it’s always an improvement and it’s no different with Kanye West & Jay-Z’s ”H.A.M.” single. It’s much better than the original who’s epic moment lasted for about a week, check it out and leave your thoughts.

Yesterday Kanye West Tweeted the artwork for his single with Jay-Z called “H.A.M” from their upcoming project Watch The Throne, the track is reportedly produced by Lex Luger, and is slated to drop on Tuesday 1.11.11. Kanye West sold another 108k copies of, “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy,” which places him above gold, while Nicki Minaj moves closer to gold with 103k records sold missing the gold mark by about 50,000 units more or less. Nicki Minaj made a bit of history with her debut. Pink Friday had the second best opening for a female rapper in the history of Billboard. Only Lauryn Hill’s 1998 masterpiece The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill fared better. That classic album debut sold 423,000 in 1998–the pre-digital era.

Lil Kim told Nicki Minaj not to say anything to her until her first week sales numbers come back. Well Kim she already beat you in Billboard history and now she’s on her way to being certified gold, I think Nicki’s action are talking doing all the talking for her.

Love her or hate her, she’s making moves.

Here’s the CDQ version of Twista’s “Hustlaz” produced by Kanye West, this was released a couple months ago with a bunch of tags on it and now here’s the tag less version.

In a Interview with Mikey T the Movie Star, Yung Berg claims Kanye West stole the beat for one of Kanye West’s biggest hit “Jesus Walks.” Berg says that  the song was on a demo that he put together as a teenager.

Says Berg:

I played Rodney [Jerkins} a lot of my records and the “Jesus Walks” beat is the same song I recorded just maybe the bass is amped up a little bit,” Yung Berg recalled. “I remember when I played [Rodney] the track and he fell asleep to Jesus Walks and they used it.

Berg Again:

I was on my Iceberg flow, on some crazy sh*t,” Yung Berg continued. “Like here I am going hard on my demo at 16-years-old and they take it and win a Grammy, congrats because it’s all a part of my story.

Could be true, but the real question is do we care?

Number 1: Kanye West’s 5th album, “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy,” sold 497k records in its first week. Kanye’s previous debuts were, “The College Dropout,”(441k) “Late Registration,”(860k) “Graduation,”(957k) & “808s & Heartbreak”(450k). I hated 808s & Heartbreak but this new album is great, some of his best production to date. The album even gained the infamous 5 Mics in The Source Magazine. The reviews from our readers also have the same scores as The Source.

Number 2: Nicki Minaj’s debut album, “Pink Friday,” which had allot of mixed reviews sold 376k records in its first week of sales. Nicki Minaj’s label mate Drake debuted with 447k earlier this year. With Lil Wayne’s, “I Am Not A Human Being,” going gold this week Lil Wayne’s Young Money empire is running this right now. Is Nicki Ninaj’s debut effort above or below your expectations?

Number 3: Ne-Yo’s, “Libra Scale,” sold 112k records in its first week of sales. Ne-Yo’s last album, “Year of the Gentleman,” sold 250k in the first week.

Number 25: Lloyd Banks sold 44,500 copies of, “Hunger For More 2,” last week. His sophomore LP, Rotten Apple sold 143,000 copies it’s first week and debut at number 3. His debut album and the original to the current sequel The Hunger for More opened at #1 on Billboard‘s albums sales chart, with week-one sales topping 433,000, and Hunger ended up spending a second-straight week at #1, selling close to 164,000 units. Judging by the reviews from our readers and reviews across web, people really enjoyed the album, much better than Rotten Apple. 45, 000 copies for a now independent artist isn’t bad, plus his single Beamer, Benz and Bentley sold over 500,000 copies. Unfortunately the single was released in the 1st quarter and the album released in the 4th quarter and even though “Any Girl” and “Start It Up” were great songs they were no where close to the lead single.

Here’s the official remix to Keri Hilson’s “Pretty Girl Rock” featuring Kanye West, from her sophomore album, In A Perfect World, due 12/21.

The sun sets, and Q-Tip and Consequence arrive, straight from the plane. Kanye asks RZA if he’d voice the hook—”Champagne wishes and 30 white bitches/You know the shit is, fuckin’ ridic’lous”—and the Abbott steps into the booth and obliges, immediately transforming from sedate and stoned to amped and aggressive. It’s enough to make us all chuckle on his first take; wrapped around those words, his thick and bizarre drawl just sounds so perfectly…RZA. The rest of the trip settles into a fairly routine pattern, if by “fairly routine” you mean “a succession of both magical and mundane moments starring the musicians who defined your adolescence alongside the most exciting artists of today.” Each morning begins with a 10 a.m. breakfast at Kanye’s Diamondhead residence. Pusha, Tip, RZA, Cudi, Cons, and Kanye’s crew slowly assemble to enjoy the absurdly tasty cooking of Kanye’s in-house chefs. If you’re smart, you order the French toast with the flambéed banana. An hour later, Kanye pulls up in his Porsche Panamera, fresh from the studio. That’s right, from the studio. During my five days in Hawaii, Kanye never slept at his house, or even in a bed. He would, er, power-nap in a studio chair or couch here and there in 90-minute intervals, working through the night. Engineers remained behind the boards 24 hours a day.

Dabble is the best word to describe what musician Kanye West is doing by directing a movie that will accompany his next album release, Dark Twisted Fantasy, which itself is part of his Good Music Fridays initiative, where he releases a new song every Friday between now and Christmas.

The 40-minute movie is called Runaway and it represents West’s first time exploring film as a medium. He recently showed the trailer for Runaway at the pre-show or the MTV Video Music Awards and it left many viewers grasping for words to explain what they had just seen.

The “Hunger For More 2” album run is officially on and one of the first joints off it is appropriately titled “Start It Up” featuring Kanye West, Swizz Beatz, Ryan Leslie & Fabolous. This one is sort of just for the simple fact no one on this track (minus Ryan Leslie) was cool with each other a few years ago, definitely making it to iPod. It’s also been about 7 years since Banks and Fabolous been on a track together, it’s ill to hear how they sound now and how much they’ve developed. Back then they sound so much alike.

He might be overestimating Lil Wayne a little bit but either way it would have been lame for Eminem to diss him or Kanye for no reason. Em has always been the underdog it wouldn’t be like him to just go at somebody without being attacked first.

Now if you are a member of our Facebook fan page (witch you should be) then you should already be aware of the news that this song was in the works, similar to Money 2 Blow this song is also a remake from a song that was on Heartbreak Drake Pt 1. The original only had Drake, Lil Wayne and and someone else who’s name escapes me at the moment, this version has the new verses from Drake, Lil Wayne, plus Kanye West and Eminem have been added to the roster which is far more epic than having someone on it who’s name I can’t remember.

You know your a hot artist when people are already remaking songs you already put out on mixtapes and repackaging them as singles, the kid didn’t even drop an album yet. In all honesty though I much prefer Lil Wayne and Drake’s original verses.

Shorty’s kinda crazy, but it turns him on. Kanye West said it, not us, in the song that’s becoming a video staring his girlfriend, Amber Rose.

“I have Kanye’s ‘Robocop’ video,” Rose told MTV News Monday night in Scranton, Pennsylvania, during the launch of the America’s Most Wanted Music Festival. “I’m playing a robot through the whole video. Ninety-five percent of the video is just me.”

Rose, who has appeared in such videos as Ludacris’ “What Them Girls Like,” said the rise of her profile over the past few months has been a welcome surprise.

“I have Complex mag, Elle magazine, Persona magazine — I have the cover to the back, the whole issue is dedicated to me,” she said of her upcoming publicity appearances. “I’m excited about that.

“I definitely welcome it,” she added. “I appreciate all my fans. I definitely never expected it. I don’t wanna say I never wanted it. But … I just know a lot of girls, they go to modeling agencies every single day. That’s their life. A lot of stuff … just landed in my lap. I thank God for that; it’s really a blessing. I thank God for that — and Kanye, of course. Kanye definitely gave me the fast track to the top.”

Rose was in Scranton to support her girl Nick Minaj. The two first met on Twitter, then face to face on the set of Drake’s “Best I Ever Had” video, which Kanye directed.

“She’s a dope girl,” Minaj said of Amber. “You can tell she’s dope. I’m all about girls that are spearheading a movement. She’s doing her own thing in her own lane. The world has yet to see what she’s going to accomplish. Be on the lookout for that.”

Here is Jay-Z’s first single from his upcoming album Blueprint 3 dropping 9/11, It would be great to hear Drake on this track not sure why he isn’t on it….

Had this since yesterday but was too tired to post, apologies. It’s another good one for Twista with his Chi-town counter part KanYeezy. That Catergory F5 in stores today…Pick it up it’s a good album.

“Drake is the new movement, man. You gotta think about what this kid has done, man. To have records on a mixtape, and then the next thing you know he’s on top of the charts. And every time you mention him, people go crazy,” Foxx told MTV News. “I’ve had the chance to meet Drake and listen to his music. The volumes of music he’s producing makes him a strong force that’ll be around for a very long time. Because usually, when you see an artist of today, they do one thing — maybe they perform a song or do a great hook — but you seldom see a guy who can walk a song, all from the R&B end, and then to be on a track with Bun B … and Bun B, he doesn’t get on tracks with people unless it’s really legit … so I’m actually honored to have him on a track called ‘Digital Girl,’ and we will be working with each other in the future.”

Some of you may be familiar with this track, as it was featured on DJ Drama and Bump J’s Chicagorilla Gangsta Grillz mixtape a few years ago. It’s 3:22 of pure lyrics as Kanye, Bumpy and Sly all go in on The Game’s “Put You On The Game” instrumental. A No DJ version of this track has never surfaced until now, so here’s the real version, sans any of Drama’s drops and/or sound effects.

This was recorded back when Bump and the Goon Squad were working closely with ‘Ye and G.O.O.D. Music. There are more collabos from these two that have yet to surface, so hopefully some will be liberated soon. If you aren’t familiar with this joint be sure to download it immediately. They all snap.
