Here’s another leak from Mary J. Blige’s My Life II…The Journey Continues (Act I) album, dropping November 21. This one is called “Why” featuring Rick Ross.

Mary J. Blige and Drake come together to make yet another hot single titled “Mr. Wrong” where the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul breaks down her love for the wrong one. This will appear on My Life II…The Journey Continues (Act I) which drops November 21.

Mary J. Blige is giving you her love “25/8” on the blissful new single off her 10th studio album My Life II: The Journey Continues, due this October.

The R&B veteran has been in the studio with Pharrell, Rico Love, Swizz Beatz, and Jermaine Dupri working on the sequel to her 1994 landmark album My Life.

Mary J. Blige weathers the storm on “The Living Proof,” the theme song from the upcoming film The Help. The survivors’ anthem, produced by Harvey Mason Jr., is an understated piano-driven number written about Aibileen (Viola Davis), the main character who plays a maid living in Mississippi during the 1960s. The soundtrack will be available July 26 at Starbucks.

DJ Khaled revives a old rap song for his latest single called “It Ain’t Over Till It’s Over” from the “We The Best Forever” album. The song features Mary J. Blige, Fabolous & Jadakiss, doesn’t sound like anything special especially when compared to “I’m On One” but you might find it to be iPod worthy.

It’s not a Monster Monday track but here’s a unreleased joint from Swizz Beatz called “It’s You” featuring Mary J. Blige.

Yesterday on the Angie Martinez show on Hot 97, Angie Martinez said she was in the studio for 3 hours with Mary J. Blige pleading with her to liberate this track on the radio. It’s called called “Someone To Love Me” and was originally on Diddy’s Last Train To Paris album, now Mary J. has revamped it with her vocals and added a verse from Lil Wayne.

This one is Pod worthy, thoughts?

Lil Kim was talking reckless during a performance New Year’s Eve party in Pennsylvania. This is what she had to say while standing center stage:

Music video for the Trey Songz-assisted track “We Got Hood Love” which appears on Mary’s ninth studio album Stronger With Each Tear out now.

If the great Ghostdini got his wish, he’d do a duets LP with one of his most popular collaborators: Mary J. Blige.

“We got the ill chemistry together,” said Ghost, on the set of his “Baby” video in Harlem. “I love Mary. I hope one day we could … get together and just make an ill classic. Some Peaches & Herb. [Hip-hop editor's note: Google that group!] We just hop in real quick. Just one go-round, a one-off. That’s just fly.”

Sitting in his tour bus, parked across the street from Rucker Park, Ghost was also thinking about collaborating with some other R&B greats. His past R&B collaborations are highlighted on the new J-Love mixtape The Wizard Is Coming.

“That was when we was in Cali at that time,” Ghost thought back to his guest appearance on Mary’s “Your Child” remix. “I remember Mary wanted me to do that for her real quick. I did two of them [verses]. The other verse wasn’t all right. I think [the verse that made the song] might have been eight bars. Those were the days. I was stuck a little bit.”

Tony Starks’ eyes were as bright as Iron Man’s suit with a fresh coat of candy-red paint when he talked about the “Freek’n You” remix he did with Jodeci.

“We smashed that out in two or three hours,” he said of the song. “They was drinking that red shot, some red liquor. [Jodeci] was in there singing, doing their own parts. Me and [Raekwon] was in there sitting down writing our part. Then Rae went in and did his part. I laid mine after Rae. That’s when our pens were going off fast and did what it did. Connected the dots. [Jodeci] were some good brothers. They was drunk, but they were doing it like it was nothing.”

Ghost is putting out his Wizard of Poetry later this fall, featuring duets with John Legend, Estelle, possibly Blige and definitely Raheem DeVaughn on the first single “Baby.”

New music from Mary J. Blige titled The One featuring Drake, I gotta say I didn’t see this collaboration coming and Mary has a sprinkle of auto tune on this one but it doesn’t sound bad since Mary can actually sing. This might be the last auto tune track for a while though, you will see why in my upcoming post.
