Here is an excerpt of Rozay talking about his album title God Forgives I Dont:

“This album is almost like a movie,” Ross says. “I wanted [the title] to be something that was extremely emotional, to set up a real roller coaster ride as far as the music and thought process. It sounds like a term of retaliation, and with the picture that I’m painting, it felt perfect.”

Speaks on big records:

Juvie links up with Mannie Fresh for the first time since their Cash Money days for his new album Rejuvenation, out December 13th. The single is called “Power” and features Rick Ross.

Drake recently told XXL that he’s been putting in work on a new joint mixtape with Rick Ross, called Y.O.L.O. – short for “You Only Live Once”. Rick Ross mentions it at the beginning of his “Lord Knows” verse and that was later also the inspiration for the Take Care bonus track with Wayne.

“I have been working on a mixtape with Ross,” Drake said. “A mixtape called Y.O.L.O. [That means] ‘You Only Live Once’. I’ve been working on that for the last couple of weeks. We haven’t really connected because he’s been going through this thing with his health. I’ve been stashing my little beats and verses.”

Drake says there is no release date for the tape as of yet and if it were up to him, the project will drop without a lot of pre-hype or warning; he wants to make it a surprise for the fans.

Drake also said that he’ll be on Rick Ross’ God Forgives, I Don’t.

While the Albert Anastasia EP mixtape caught me by surprise and ended up being my favorite Ross release to date, Ashes to Ashes feels like a strong artistic regression for one of 2010’s bigger success stories. Ross has nearly nothing to say here, and his creative juices seem to extend no further than attempts to revive “MC Hammer” and “B.M.F.”.

No hate, I’m just saying though….

It’s all the same format. These 2 are best buddies now, you know one of the first blog posts I ever made on the internet was about Rick Ross dissing T.I. back in 2005. How times have changed, only in Hip Hop.

Rick Ross is gearing up to build his empire, he confirmed in the Source which he is on his cover of for Man Of The Year. He spoke on signing Wale, Meek Millz and Jah Cure.

“I look for next year to be an even bigger year,” Ross said a couple of weeks back in New York, fresh from his source cover shoot. “We just brought Jah Cure to the team. That’s one of the biggest reggae superstars in the game. We just did a deal with that. Look for that first quarter. I’m talking to artist out of Philly that I think is the future of Philly. Meek Millz, I’m talking to him right now about Maybach Music. As well as I’m talking to Wale.”

The Miami Mayor says Wale impresses him with not just his music acumen, but with his grind as well.

“Wale is a hustler. I feel he’s one record away from being the next nigga,” The Husky Don forecasted. “He’s just a naturally fly nigga. Slick talking nigga. That’s right up my alley. I just think that comradery, riding with Rozay, it’ll mean that much more. I feel he’s one record away. As well as Meek Millz.”

Should the signings go through, Ross says he’s definitely going to be helping both MCs with the musical direction on their upcoming LPs. He “most definitely” wants to be hands on.
