TSG: Alfamega Was a Snitch
Oh man, I don’t know about you Mega!! According to The Smoking Gun the same site that exposed Officer Ricky, rap goon and Grand Hustle’s muscle use to be an informant for the DEA who snitched out criminal cohorts and testified as a government witness at the trial of an Atlanta heroin trafficker.
Here’s is some of the overwhelming evidence TSG was able to dig up when they dived into the rappers (Cedric “Alfamega” Zellars) past.
Court records show that Zellars began working with law enforcement officials after he was sentenced in September 1995 to 110 months in a federal gun case (Zellars, who had a prior felony robbery conviction, was collared for selling weapons to an undercover federal agent). Zellars “agreed to cooperate with authorities and was debriefed” about the criminal activity of several individuals. “In particular he was debriefed concerning the drug trafficking activities of a Mr. Ali Baaqar,” according to a government court filing, a copy of which you’ll find below. During his cooperation against Baaqar, Zellars met with a DEA agent and a federal prosecutor, and subsequently testified at trial. “Ali Baaqar was convicted of conspiracy to distribute heroin based upon the trial testimony of [Zellars] and others.” In return for his snitching, Zellars had 18 months shaved off his prison term when he was resentenced in July 1997 by Judge J. Owen Forrester.
Damn man The Smoking Gun is like kryptonite to rappers. All the more reason to be honest.

Depends on what you consider snitching, I would never sell out my blood or my friends, but everyone else is open season.
I’m a real nigga but I don’t live the life of a gangsta. So that code does not apply to me, the violation is that these cats portray an image of living outside the law and then when shit comes down on them they switch up and completely abandoned that code they were so proudly representing. You can’t have it both ways.

i really have no problems with rappers “snitchin” or whatever so long as they dont rap about how they hate on snitches and shit
i mean the dude obviously was a drug dealer so give him cred but like i said no problems with rappers until it gets hypocritical
