How are they honoring all of these groups but haven’t honored EPMD yet. These dudes were in the game large from about 1985/1986..Cypress Hill, De La Soul, Wu Tang Clan before EPMD…I don’t think so. Hopefully, they will get it right next year…

I appriciate the fact that Vh1 is honoring a bay area legend. The bay has come a long way and though people may only recognize the negative (despite the musical lyrics), there are far more positive outreaches that go unrecognized! thank you Vh1!
